Cailleach means hag or witch in Gaelic and this stand alone base available in 25 tonals is inspired by history, heritage and a touch of magic. 

This base is 100% non-superwash Corriedale, a soft but still rustic and wooly feeling yarn. It blooms and softens even more with blocking! Corriedale also has a gentle sheen which catches the light incredibly beautifully. Ideal for cables, colourwork, lace, or textured stitch patterns. 

Sport weight: 333m per 100g. 

Each colourway bears the surname of a woman tried for witchcraft during the Scottish witch trials to honour those women and the heritage of femininity, craft, and magic.
