From the sanctum of the Swamp, to the kingdom of Far Far Away - the towering symbol of egregious excess and celebrity culture - we will explore the nature of Shrek and the indelible mark it has left on the post-modern imaginarium. What at once may appear as a comical off-beat fairytale, at closer glance reveals itself as one of the most incisive cultural critiques of our time. 

Nietzsche stated that God is dead however, Shrek - in the hearts and minds of millions - is very much alive, and Shrek is love. For those that are about to swamp, we salute you.
